We offer select retailers the opportunity to carry our premium, handcrafted chess sets. Our partnership terms are straightforward, designed for mutual success, and non-negotiable.
Corner Tactics offers two partnership models to accommodate different retail needs. Both models are available for physical stores, with specific terms for online retailers.
Purchase sets at wholesale pricing and set your own retail prices. Ideal for retailers who prefer inventory ownership and pricing control.
Display and sell our products with payment upon sale. Corner Tactics receives an agreed commission from each sale. Available for physical stores only.
Note: Online retailers are permitted to purchase via wholesale only. Consignment is not available for any retailer who intends to sell our products online.
Our pricing structure is designed to be fair, transparent, and consistent across all retail partners.
Wholesale pricing and consignment commissions vary by product and are non-negotiable. All pricing information is available in our product catalog brochure, available upon request.
Regardless of product selection, there is a minimum floor of $95 per set of pieces. This applies to both wholesale and consignment arrangements.
Boards and pieces are sold separately by Corner Tactics. Retailers are welcome to combine them into bundles for their customers if desired.
We provide convenient delivery options for retailers in the Buffalo area, with flexible arrangements for stores outside our immediate radius.
For physical stores outside the 30-mile radius from Buffalo, delivery costs will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
In some cases, we may gift a first set to a store interested in our products, provided there is a commitment for future orders if that set sells at MSRP.
To maintain brand integrity and ensure customer experience, all retail partners must adhere to these standards.
Any store carrying Corner Tactics products must have at least one full set on display at all times. Display is defined as a Corner Tactics board paired with Corner Tactics pieces (two products intended to go together), visibly displayed on the sales floor.
Retailers are not permitted to alter, swap out, cover, or replace the manufacturer's original packaging. Products must be sold in their original Corner Tactics packaging.
All products come with manufacturer SKU codes. No products have UPC or GTIN codes.
We provide pricing flexibility for in-person retailers while maintaining brand standards for online sales.
Retailers are welcome and allowed to set their own prices without interference from Corner Tactics, so long as Corner Tactics obtains its negotiated portion of the final sale price (whether consignment or wholesale).
Corner Tactics will provide an MSRP for every product. This applies only to in-person retailers selling products in-store only.
For online retailers purchasing at wholesale prices for online retail, they are bound to not sell the product lower than MSRP. Price restrictions apply to all online sales.
